A morning in the plant rooms, written down the same week
On-site walks are how energy consumption dashboards in our reports stay attached to real meters. This page is for the person who will hold the keys.
Meeting point
We meet at reception or the loading dock, as you prefer, and sign in under your visitor rules. High-visibility clothing is worn if your site requires it. We bring a camera, a notebook, and a copy of any meter list you already have.
Rooms we need to enter
- Boiler or heat-exchange room
- Chiller or rooftop plant, if it serves the reporting year
- Main electrical closet and any labeled “house lighting” boards
- Gas meter cupboard and district-heat interface if present
- Tenant risers only with an escort and permission
What we will not do on the day
We will not remove panel covers on live boards, force padlocks, or change timeclocks. Unreadable faces are written as unreadable. If a roof is unsafe in ice or high wind, that plant is deferred and the report says the visit was incomplete.
