Fees follow meters, plants, and the reporting year
There is no monthly subscription and no packaged “tier.” A telephone briefing establishes the building, the year, and whether interval files must be reconciled day by day. A written quote follows.
Whole-building energy consumption report
Quoted per building after we know how many meters and plants are in scope. A compact office with a single electricity account and a packaged rooftop unit is a different job from a campus with a central chiller and several gas meters. The quote covers the visit, transcription, checking, and the dated PDF. It does not cover travel beyond ordinary local attendance unless we say so in the quote.
Meter walkthrough and register
Charged as a day rate, stated before the visit. Half-day rates apply only when we agree in advance that the property is compact and the escort can stay for the whole walk. If locked tenant cupboards cannot be opened, those meters are listed as unseen and the day is still billed as walked.
Tenant-area allocation notes
Quoted from the number of suites and whether risers can be opened. Lease exhibits supplied by the client are read for energy clauses; legal interpretation of a dispute is not included.
Seasonal heating-plant review
Quoted per plant and season. The fee assumes log sheets or operator notes exist. If the plant cannot be observed during firing, the review says so and the fee still covers invoice reading and the written season narrative.
What moves a quote
- Number of utility accounts and meters
- Whether interval files must be tied month by month to billed kWh
- Number of plant rooms and roof units that must be walked
- Whether tenant escorts are required on several days
- Language of invoices and whether figures must be re-keyed from scans
Deposits
On-site days are typically reserved with a deposit stated in the quote. Desk work already started on invoices is treated under the refund terms.
