Whole-building energy consumption report
A written account of billed kWh, fuel, and thermal demand for one campus or building, assembled from meters, invoices, and a plant-room visit.
Facility optimization reporting in this studio means a human being standing next to a meter, then writing what the bills and the hardware actually show. The whole-building energy consumption report is that document.
Readers are usually preparing a board pack, a tenant reconciliation, or a municipal energy filing. They need the story of a specific year: which boilers ran through a mild winter, which lighting panel still feeds both the loading dock and the east office wing, which account covers the chilled-water plant.
The report opens with a building portrait—hours of occupation, heated volume, and the central plant—then moves meter by meter. Charts appear only where they clarify a month or a circuit; they are not a product screen.
A short companion file can be kept in the Packagegridbase desktop application on the client’s own computer, as a local record of the same figures. That application is a local data tracking and analytical utility. It is not required to receive the written report.

What you receive
A bound narrative plus tables that show where electricity, gas, and district heat were used, which meters feed which areas, and which months drifted from the previous comparable season.
Scope
One building or a defined cluster of buildings that share a utility account or a central plant. Outbuildings are included only when named in the engagement note.

Who attends

How the work proceeds

- Document intake: invoices, tenant schedules, and any existing meter list
- On-site walkthrough of plant rooms, electrical closets, and roof equipment
- Draft tables returned for factual correction (meter IDs, tenant names)
- Final report issued as a dated PDF for the client’s own archive
Time
Most single buildings take three to five weeks from complete invoices to final PDF. Campuses with several plants need a written timetable after the first visit.

Limits we keep
We do not enter live electrical gear beyond visual inspection of labeled boards. Reports follow the evidence supplied; guessed loads are labeled as estimates.
